Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years experience counseling children and adolescents. I received a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Chicago in 2012, and am a Licensed School Social Work Specialist.
For more than a decade, I have supported kids from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of challenges- from learning disabilities and behavior disorders, to the emotional stressors of trauma, grief, anxiety and depression. I am also passionate about working with LGBT youth and strive to provide affirming, inclusive care for all children. My approach is strengths-based and client-centered, meaning I prioritize developing a strong therapeutic relationship with each child to create a safe space where they feel seen, heard, and understood. I believe that every child has the potential to grow and thrive, and I work closely with families to understand their child's unique needs and gifts.
